About this game
Battle Drones is a free browser RTS in the Command & Conquer tradition, announced on X by Simon Willison and built almost entirely with Claude Opus 5.5 and Claude Code (321 commits, 12 major versions). It includes skirmish mode, a Last Stand survival mode, a Daily Op challenge, an eight-mission campaign and AI-vs-AI matches, with fog of war, six maps across five biomes, a random map generator — and every 3D model written in Three.js code by the model itself. Claude even rebalanced the game by playing over a thousand simulated matches against itself.
