A daily geography game for bird lovers: you get five birds, see a photo, and drop a pin where you think each species is right now. The answer changes with the month, because birds migrate.
Flyway shows you one bird at a time, with a photo, its name and the current month, and asks where on the map it is right now. Click the map to drop your pin (scroll to zoom) and lock in your guess. A guess inside the species' range scores 1,000; outside it, the farther away you click the less you score. The daily set mixes wide-ranging birds with local ones, and a bird that is common in July may be gone by October.
Besides the Daily there is an Unlimited mode (one bird at a time, in any month), an Archive of past days and a Stats page. Photos are credited on screen under their CC licences. You can play today's game without signing in.
