A browser-based cellular automaton sandbox that extends Conway's Game of Life: cells evolve through a configurable 1–31 color spectrum, spawn moving spores and compete for territory, with live rule sliders and a 3D "tower" mode that stacks each generation as height. Everything runs from a single self-contained index.html with no build step.
Open the page and press Play to start the simulation, then click or drag on the canvas to draw living cells in the selected color. Each generation is evaluated in a fixed order: Evolution (cells with a neighbor count in the Evolution range step forward one color), Survival, Death (overpopulation above the Death threshold, isolation below 2 neighbors), and Birth (empty cells born from same-color neighbors in the Birth range). Birth, Survival and Evolution ranges plus the Death threshold are adjusted live with draggable sliders. The color swatches slider sets 1 to 31 colors, starting at white and stepping around a Red→Orange→Yellow→Green→Blue→Purple wheel. A 3D Mode renders each generation as a growing tower, and Save/Load Pattern tools keep a library of discoveries organized by rule set.
